What People's Say About Place

Their coffee is delicious! The environment is super inviting. It's the perfect place to meet a friend, have a family outing, come get some work done while getting your caffeine fix, or even just come and relax. Everyone is super friendly and helpful with suggestions of trying their different beans. Our kiddos loved the hot cocoa too! You won't regret going here :)

We like to try small, one-off coffee spots, so we popped in here as we haven't tried it. I guess they have been there five years. The prices are definitely lower than the mermaid chain. We ordered a Chai with sugar-free vanilla and a London fog. The Chai was sweet and on the weak side, but that likely appeals to a lot of people. The London fog was immediately drinkable, so happy about that, but again, on the weak side. Unfortunately, they had zero gluten, vegan, or nut free treat choices. The seating is mixed, and they clearly made three or so small gathering spots. They have bikes everywhere as this is a bike sale, rent, and repair shop. They also use old espresso machines as tables in front of one of the seating arrangements. The batistas were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic coffee from baristas that understand espresso! Loved my experience here. Great selection of pastries as well. Would love a few ORGANIC options for beans and snacks.

Order: Decaf pourover 10/10, Mocha Hot 10/10. High quality fresh coffee. Chill vibe. First time in Boise, and I had to spend ~3hrs waiting for my next event, and I was very comfortable here. It was <10min bus ride from Boise airport. Thank you, Bikes and Beans!

you haven’t been to Bikes and Beans, you’re missing one of Boise’s hidden gems. Andrew, the owner, is flat-out awesome — the kind of guy who knows your name, your bike, and your favorite coffee order. Speaking of coffee… hands down, this is some of the best coffee in Boise — maybe the best I’ve ever had (and I take my caffeine seriously). The bike side is just as impressive. I’ve managed to mess up my electric bike more times than I can count, and these guys have had it fixed quick, every single time. Whatever they repair stays fixed — and that’s saying a lot. They know their stuff and treat every customer like a regular. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to hang out — grab a killer cup of coffee, talk bikes, and leave in a better mood than you came in. One of my favorite spots in Boise, no question about it. Do yourself a favor and check it out — once you go, it’ll be your new go-to too.

Whether you're a beginner looking for guidance or a professional seeking competitive tuning and the latest industry innovations, the Bikes and Beans crew caters to everyone. They provide excellent customer service with a positive, can-do attitude. Don’t miss out on the experience—make sure to visit! And don't forget to enjoy their great coffee.

Tina and Andrew are amazing people, and their coffee/bike shop is a valley staple. I had an old Schwin bike that other bike shops said they couldn't work on. Andrew had me bring it in. He was able to restore the bike and make custom fenders. I absolutely love this bike. Their coffee is super high quality and very delicious. They make a matcha latte that is the closest thing to the ones we had in Japan. Please support this amazing local business, you won't regret it.

I took my Rad bike to Bikes and Beans to have the controller replaced. I spoke to Dave before taking my bike in because I had a friend who didn’t have a great experience with Bikes and Beans a year or so ago. But since Rad had recommended Bikes and Beans, and Dave was able to answer all of my questions and address my concerns I went ahead and took the bike in. I am 100% Satisfied with the work that they did. The bike was ready the same day I took it in and I even got a few small maintenance items checked while I was there. Also got good tips on properly managing the battery and electrical system for the Rad bike. I will definitely be using bikes and beans for all future maintenance on my bike!
